Сквер энергетиков
"Сквер энергетиков" торжественно открылся 26 июня 2015 года, к 70-летию образования энергосистемы Калининградской области, и расположился от Областной научной библиотеки до перекрестка проспекта Мира и Советского проспекта.
Для всех отдыхающих в сквере специалисты «Ростелекома» организовали свободную зону Wi-Fi и видеонаблюдение, изображение идет прямо на пульт дежурного «Янтарьэнерго» и в ситуационно-мониторинговый центр «Безопасный город».
Территория сквера поделена на 4 зоны, а дорожки, протоптанные за многие годы калининградцами, выложены плиткой и соединяют парковые зоны между собой. Центральная зоной - участок напротив Калининградского государственного технического университета, там к концу 2015 года установят символ энергетики. К нему будут вести еще три скульптуры, символизирующие основные стихии – ветер, огонь и воду. Растущие в сквере деревья постарались сохранить, дополнительно разбили декоративные клумбы и ландшафтные композиции. Вдоль всех его тротуаров установлены уличные фонари, предусмотрено декоративное освещение зон отдыха, подсветка деревьев и малых архитектурных форм.
